Crown MKII is a fairly powerful weapon. It can generate a hefty recoil. Thankfully, this scope is capable of holding strong against that recoil.
Fully multi-coated lenses with a glass-etched FFP reticle, this scope is something for sure. The reticle is clear and visible in different lighting conditions. It’s not the hardest to learn reticle either. Christmas tree reticles are easier to learn in my opinion. You can become very good at reading bullet drops.

2. Vortex Optics Viper HS-T 6-24X50mm SFP Riflescope
Viper and Diamondback, are two prized possessions of Vortex. Under the Viper banner, Vortex sells a lot of hunting equipment as well. Viper HS-T is a medium-range SFP riflescope for airsoft guns and hunting rifles.
This riflescope is made from aluminum. Lightweight and durable material that is used on almost every type of scopes (except some night vision ones). It’s not too big either. Perfect size to pair with a bolt-action rifle. As this scope has O-ring sealings, it’s waterproof completely. It is also shock and fog-proof at the same time.
To help you see better, Vortex coats the pair of lenses multiple times with different chemicals each time. It increases the brightness of the scope and makes it much more resilient towards dirt and scratches. It gets extremely bright in low-light conditions as well. The advantage of using high-quality glass that is Vortex known for.
Packing a good amount of adjustment knobs, they are useful for hunting, tactical shooting, or airsoft shooting.

3. Vortex Optics Strike Eagle 5-25×56 FFP Riflescope
America’s pride and honor. The Mighty Eagle is made by Vortex. Vortex Strike Eagle is a great FX Crown scope. It’s one of the best. You might not know, but it’s one of the very first scopes that we reviewed here.
Like all other Vortex scopes, this one is made with high-quality aluminum as well. The same type of aluminum that you see on 1000$ or more expensive scopes. When it comes to build quality, Vortex doesn’t joke around. Besides that, this scope is 100% water and fogproof. To help you fire .22 LR or bigger shots, this scope is also shockproof.
The first focal plane reticle helps a ton while aiming. It’s a big scope. The objective lens is 56mm. A fully multi-coated lens gathers a ton of light to help you see better through the scope. Multi-coating also increases the strength of the glass and protects it from scratches.
Does this scope come with a sunshade?
It comes with a rubber sunshade inside the package.
Does it come with a mount?
No, you will need to purchase your mount depending on the gun you are using. You will need 34mm rings.
How far can you see through it?
You can easily see through 1000 yards or more accurately. Can you shoot that far? Well, that will depend on the gun and caliber you are using. With the right gun, you can certainly use it for long-range hunting.
4. Athlon Midas TAC 6-24×50 First Focal Plane Riflescope
Named after King Midas, Athlon had some justification to do. Will your gun turn to gold by installing this scope? Of course, not. But it will be a different gun that will help you shoot better. Make a better hunter out of you. Justified name in my opinion.
Athlon is mainly known for its flagship scopes. You will be glad to know; that this scope uses the same materials as those flagship scopes. The same lightweight aluminum with water, fog, and shockproof construction.
Lenses of this scope are fully multi-coated to provide the best performance. Unlike cheap scopes where you see the lens act a bit sus and show too much red or too much yellow, you will see a clear picture of what you are aiming at. With 100% color accuracy.
TAC is an FFP scope. Meaning, that the reticle of the scope is on the first focal plane. It zooms in the reticle as you increase the magnification of the scope. A really neat feature to have with sniper rifles. The reticle is clear and visible.
Does this scope use HD glasses?
Yes, it uses HD glasses for improved low-light performance. The glasses are Advanced and fully multi-coated. Athlon’s process to make the glass even better.
Are the adjustments of this scope accurate?
There is no pushover on the adjustment knobs. You will get the same measurements you are dialing in.

Athlon has factories in both Japan and China. Most of their scopes come from China while some are from Low factories in Japan.
5. Athlon Argos BTR 6-24X50 First Focal Plane Riflescope
Argos BTR is another great scope for Crown MKII. It’s made by Athlon. The same brand is known to provide some great flagship scopes for sniper and AR rifles.
This waterproof construction is made from aluminum. As the name suggests, it has argon purging inside. Argon purging makes a cylinder immune to moisture. As there is no moisture, there won’t be any fog involved. Housing is durable enough to withstand the torture of many powerful sniper rifles.
Lenses of this scope are advanced and fully multi-coated. This process of coating is patented by Athlon. They are the only ones to use this term. To put it simply, they coat it with extra layers of chemicals to make the HD glasses perform even better under different lighting conditions.
The first focal plane reticle is a treat to watch. On top of that, you got the APMR FFP MIL reticle. One of the best.
What height ring should you use with this scope?
Mostly depends on your gun. Medium-height rings should be viable in all sorts of guns. But some may require low.

One of the key parts of a scope is the weight and weight distribution. A heavy scope will make your gun feel imbalanced. Weight distribution won’t feel nice. You will need a lighter scope for better weight distribution.
