It’s mainly made to teach younglings how to operate an air rifle and maybe have a shot or two while birding. While it’s not the most powerful gun in the world, the .117 caliber it fires is still quite powerful. That’s why a lot of hunters carry one of these to teach their children the basics of hunting.

Enough about the gun, what about Daisy BB gun scopes? What is a good scope for the Daisy 880? Don’t worry, that’s why we are here.

Let’s find out which one is the best scope for Daisy 880 and which one is more worth it for you.

Best Daisy 880 Scopes

1. Daisy Outdoor 4X32 AO Winchester Scope

It’s a standard 4×32 scope with an AO adjustment feature. Thus, the name. It’s made by none other than Daisy themselves. That’s right, Daisy makes almost anything outdoor sports-related.

Made from high-quality aluminum, you would be surprised just how well this scope is made. You can easily use this on a much more powerful gun and the scope won’t bend the knee. Anodization had no issues either. Matte finish with minimal branding looks good on the scope as well.

It’s water, fog, and shockproof. It also comes with knobs that will allow you to customize windage and elevation to your will. But there is no magnification whatsoever. Honestly, 4x is more than enough.

Lenses used here are fully multi-coated for performance as well. Thanks to anti-fog purging, the lenses here perform insanely well. The light transmission of this scope is quite good. The objective lens is big enough for that.

Will this fit the Daisy 880 Powerline?

Yes, it will fit in a Daisy 880 Powerline. You will find plenty of users who are already rocking this combo.

The most accurate range of this scope?

It’s pretty accurate for up to 30 or so yards. But combined with Daisy 880, you are better off shooting at 20 yards or so.

Will it fit MK 177 Tactile?

No, it won’t fit that. MK 177 has a weaver rail and this one comes with dovetail mounting rings.

2. CVLIFE 3-9×40 Optics R4 Reticle Crosshair Scope

CVLIFE has been a part of the hunting community for a good while now. CVLIFE makes some great riflescopes for much more powerful rifles. What we have here might be a bit overkill for the Daisy 880. But hey, it’s always fun to take something to the extreme.

It’s constructed from high-quality durable aluminum. It’s lightweight and strong. Matte anodization makes this scope look more appealing as well. CVLIFE’s scope is also water and fogproof. While it’s shockproof as well, you won’t need that with a Daisy 880.

The turrets of this scope are also made with aluminum. They are coin style. You will need a coin to adjust them around.

Does this scope support Daisy 880?

With the stock mounts, you won’t be able to install this on an 880. You will need a pair of dovetail rails to install this on a Daisy.

What is the reticle color of this scope?

The reticle color of this scope is black. It’s not suitable for low-light hunting.

Will this be good with a .22 rifle?

For sure! Yeah, I know it has a bit of high magnification for a .22 rifle. But it surely can work as one.

Simmons .22 riflescope is another great riflescope for dovetail gun users. Unlike other scopes that mostly comes with weaver or Picatinny rail mounting rings.

Made from high-quality aluminum, this scope is built like a tank. Inside of the scope is nitrogen purged to make it fogproof. There is no O-ring sealing, but it’s still 100% waterproof. The outside is scratch-resistant to some degree and is also shockproof.

Lenses are fully multi-coated as expected. Simmons calls their technology HydroShield. This coating ensures better light transmission and a clearer picture. Thanks to this, it’s a solid choice to do low-light hunting. Be aware, it’s still not capable of doing night-time hunting.

What is the difference between regular and “upgraded” models?

Nothing. It’s not an upgrade in any sense. Just a refresh of the same product with arguably better QC.

Can I use this on a Powerline 880?

For sure! It supports a 3/8” dovetail rail. You can easily use it with a Daisy Powerline 880.

Is Simmons a good company?

They have built up a decent reputation over the years. Their customer service is also good. It’s safe to assume they are a good company.

4. Pinty 3-9×40 Duplex Crosshair R4 Reticle Rifle Scope

There are tons of Daisy scopes available in the market. Some of them are more expensive than the others. Here is Pinty making a riflescope for dirt cheap. Don’t go for the price. It’s quite a well-made scope.

Surprisingly, this scope is made from aluminum and not plastic. That is to aerospace aluminum alloy. It’s lightweight and quite durable. Inside of the scope is nitrogen purged. Making it fogproof. On top of that, it also has an O-ring sealing to make it waterproof.

Lenses here are also coated for better light transmission and color accuracy. For the price, this pair of lenses is quite impressive. Their color accuracy is not off the roof like more expensive scopes, but their color doesn’t feel artificial or more yellowish either.

Does this scope support Daisy BB 880?

It sure does. It comes with mounting rings for the dovetail mounting rail.

What color of reticle does it come with?

It has two variants. Red and green. You can choose which color you want. Most go for red but it’s preference.

Most pellet rifles come with an 11mm dovetail. While this scope comes with standard 20mm. Chances are it shouldn’t.

5. Beileshi 4X32 Compact Rifle Scope w/20mm Free Mounts

The final scope on the list is also the cheapest one. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad scope. It wouldn’t be featured as a contender for the best Daisy 880 scope.

Believe it or not, this is also made out of aluminum. What’s up with companies making dirt cheap scope and not using plastic? Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining. I am quite happy to see a solid scope for this little.

Lenses here are also coated. The inside of the scope is purged to make it fogproof. It’s also waterproof as well. For a dovetail scope, this is quite resistant to recoil as well. Not that Daisy can put a dent in this by recoil.

Does this scope come with scope rings?

Can you use this scope on airsoft sniper?

Airsoft guns come with dovetail rails. So, yes this will support Airsoft snipers.
