RWS 34 is a break barrel rifle. It’s mostly used for hunting and teaching younger people how to handle a rifle. While it’s not the most powerful thing when it comes to hunting, it’s still a solid option for casual hunting and a bit of bird hunting as well.

Don’t worry. I am here to help you with that confusion. Let’s find out some of the best scopes for RWS Diana 34.

1. UTG 3-9X32 1″ BugBuster Scope
UTG 3-9×32 is a medium-range scope made for rifles, break barrel rifles, and sniper rifles as well. This is a scope blessed with adjustments. You can adjust focus to magnification to all the basic things a scope comes with.
It’s made from durable aluminum. Aluminum has a matte anodized finish to it. The finish on the scope looks insanely good. The size of the main tube of the scope is 1”. The inside of the scope is nitrogen-purged. Making the scope fogproof. As the sealing on the outside and inside is vacuumed, it’s also waterproof.
Lenses used on this scope are fully multi-coated. They are made from durable glasses as well. Light gathering and performing decently in low light is not an issue in this scope. While you won’t be able to see in pitch-black darkness, you can still catch your hunt before or during the sunset.
Do I need risers to install this on my rifle?
Included mounts should be more than enough to mount on any given rifle. But if you needed risers to mount other scopes, you may need risers here as well. Of course, it will depend on what rifle we are talking about here.
Is UTG a good brand?
For sure. It’s a great brand making in-house scopes. You will get solid customer service and a warranty from them. On top of that, this scope is built so solid, that you may never need to visit the customer service.
What is the maximum effective range of this scope?
As this is a medium-range scope, questions about effective range will always be a hot topic. The effective range will vary from round to round. Depends on which cartridge you are using. In theory, it should go beyond 400 yards with ease. But that’s nothing but a theory. That’s why, you should fire a couple of rounds with different cartridges and then decide whether you should aim at 400 yards or beyond.
2. Tasco 3-9X40 Black FC Rifle Scope
Black FC by TASCO is one of the cheapest RWS scopes in the market. It’s a medium-range scope for rifles. It supports our favorite RWS 34 as well. The scope comes with a set of weaver mounting rings.
Just because it’s cheap, don’t think it’s badly made or anything. Made from high-quality aluminum, this thing is a tank. While the main purpose of this scope is hunting, you can easily take it in rough conditions as well. Inside of the housing is nitrogen purged. Making this scope water, fog, and shockproof.
Lenses of this scope are fully multi-coated. They are bright and clear. You won’t have problems with the reticle at any given moment.
Finger tip-style capped turrets are great. The turrets themselves are accurate and tactile. You can feel it when you adjust them. On top of that, flip-up caps make it much easier to adjust. Don’t worry, your adjustment won’t reset from drops.
Will it support any gun?
As long as your gun has a weaver rail mounting system and enough clearance for this scope, then it will support any gun.
Is TASCO 3-9×40 accurate?
It’s as accurate as a medium-range scope can be. Like I said earlier, don’t let the price tag fool you. It may look like a cheap scope, but the performance and accuracy of this scope are at a much higher league!
Can I install this on my RWS 34 Diana?
Of course! That’s why this is featured here. Besides a Diana RWS 34, you can install this scope on many other guns.

3. Hawke 1″ Airmax Airgun Scope
Airmax by Hawke is an RWS 34 Air rifle scope. Hawke is not a new name among hunters. Airmax is available in 3 different configurations at 3 different price points. The one we have here is 2-7x32AO. It’s a short to medium-range riflescope for different kinds of rifles.
Airmax is made out of aluminum. Not a thin type of aluminum either. It’s the same type of aluminum you see in high-end scopes. The tube size of this scope is 1”. Entire tube is nitrogen purged as well. Making the scope fogproof. To make the scope waterproof as well, they sealed the joints pretty well as well.
The lenses here are also fully multi-coated. They are bright and clear. You can see the reticle in daylight and low-light conditions as well. While this scope can’t perform any night activities, it still performs quite well in low-light activities.
Is this a good RWS scope?
Yes, it’s a solid scope for any AR or sniper rifle. It has all the features like windage, elevation, magnification, fast focus, etc. you need on a riflescope for hunting. Thus, it’s a good choice for any RWS gun owners.
Does this scope support fast focus?
Yes, it does.
What is the windage and elevation adjustment level on this scope?
Unlike most other scopes that tend to change 100 MOA per click, Hawke adjusts 80MOA per click. It’s a small step for sure, but it does the job accurately. On top of that, you have capped turrets that won’t move from the place at all.
How to Choose The Right Scope For RWS Diana 34
There are some instructions that you should follow while buying scopes for any guns. Let’s go over them quickly.
Size
Size is one of the crucial factors when it comes to scope. Modern scopes can easily be longer than older gun rails. Make sure the scope you are buying is shorter than your gun’s mounting rail. Otherwise, you won’t be able to mount it on top of your gun.
Weight
Weight can sway the balance point of a gun quite easily. If it’s a bit backside heavy, then with the weight of the back side of the gun, your gun will sway towards the back a lot. That will make you miss shots.
Make sure to get a scope with a good weight balance. It can be a bit heavy, but if the weight distribution is nice, you are good.
Lens
Fully multi-coated lenses are the norm now. As it should be. Fully multi-coated lens performs miles better than single or non-coated lenses. They gather better light and are more durable. Both of those are necessary to make a good scope.
Price
Last but not least, price. You have to think about how much you are willing to spend. You can spend more than 3k on a scope or spend less than $300. It all depends on you. Make sure to fix the budget before pulling the trigger.
Summary
RWS Diana 34 is a great gun. There is no denying that. But you can make it even better with a good scope. That’s why I think you deserve to have the best RWS Diana 34 scope you can buy. This was my humble effort to guide you in the right direction.
