Even if the body is made out of magnesium alloy, it won’t matter unless the scope is water and fog proof. Both of those minerals can ruin the scope from the inside. Bushnell Trophy is one of the most affordable mid-range riflescope made by a known brand. Most people would be skeptical about a product in this budget range. That’s totally understandable. It’s not the best budget range to work with.
While companies love to cut corners in important aspects, that wasn’t the case here. The cut corners won’t even be visible not his scope.

Have to give Bushnell the props for QC on this one. Anodization feels smooth and top quality. There is no visible anodization defects anywhere. If you find a huge defect, asking for replacement will help.
The build quality is simply amazing. It’s not heavy, it’s not made out of foreign materials, it’s also water, fog, and shock proof.

The base magnification of this scope is 2x. At 2x, it will support an alternative of red dot sights with a bigger objective lens and field of view. Bigger field of view always comes in handy while hunting on an open ground.
