So, you have a little budget for a rifle scope? Well then! Barska Blinker-22 3-9×32 is a budget-oriented scope that costs way too little for a hunting rifle scope. We’ll show you guys whether it’s just a bad scope or a banger for the budget.
Barska Plinker 22 3-9X32: Outlooks

Lens Quality
To be honest we weren’t hoping to see mind-blowing lenses by any means. Truth be told they blew me off for the money we paid. No, they are not multi-coated but still, the fully coated lens provides quite a good performance.
I mean if we try we can nitpick but let’s be honest we would sound like the bad guy here if we were to judge it harshly for its price.
No matter what kind of shooting you are doing competition, or long-range hunting you won’t be disappointed. The scope is going to deliver good performance.
Build Quality
Where we couldn’t find any official info regarding the model of the aluminum in the scope but, we are pretty sure that it’s pretty solid. Because the scope is water and shockproof.
While the build quality isn’t mind-blowing or anything according to the official info you are supposed to use it with .22 rimfire so the build quality is made like that so it can absorb the recoil. The scope is also pretty lightweight.
Reticle
The reticle is called a 30/30 reticle. Which has a simple crosshair that won’t block your views. The reticle is easy to get used to.
Well, the reticle is not illuminated keep that in mind. Also, the scope is in the second focal plane not the first. Let’s be real it would be absurd to ask for an FFP scope for 60$.
Zoom & Turrets
The magnification of the scope is 3-9x and the objective lens is 32mm. While zooming in this scope is not the most pleasant experience the 32 mm objective lens packs quite a bit of viewable area. The turret has windage and elevation control.
The zooming ring didn’t feel clogged or hard to move. The turrets are quite well-built too. We are hoping that if the turret cap stays the way it came out of the box we shouldn’t face dust getting inside of the turrets.
Additional Features
Well, to be honest, these are mostly bonuses that the scope offers. Not features. You get a lens cap, lens cleaning cloth, and mounting ring included in the box.
Now, these are no cheap offers, you would have to spend quite a bit to buy those from a third party. Barska includes them for you. You save quite a bit of money from this.
Pros
- Fully coated lens.
- It comes with mounts and a lens cover.
- Lifetime warranty.
- Windage and elevation turret.
Cons
- Mainly for .22 rimfire.
Barska Plinker 22 3-9X32 Review Summary
The scope offers so much for the money it’s unbelievable if you ask me. Also, the scope is not trash at all. In fact, it can make a great first scope for a new hunter who doesn’t want a fancy 3000$ scope. Also, if you have a .22rimfire rifle please consider this. Trust me you won’t be disappointed at all.
