The kit is made out of high-quality aluminum. The same type of aluminum that you might find in riflescopes and other Aimpoint sights as well. This base fits Comp M5 as well. If you own either T2 or Comp M5, then you will find this quite useful.
The weight of this item is only 1.7 oz. That’s extremely light. Much lighter than most mounting rings you will in the market for riflescopes or sights. The height of this is only 0.5 inches. That’s extremely short. It’s a tiny sight mount as well.
