Build Quality:

The build quality is solid none the less. It’s not your aircraft-grade aluminum but its not bad either. For the price point, you can’t go wrong with that build. Because the scope is made with solid aluminum it assures it can take some hit which means yes, its shockproof. So perfectly suitable for your long-range hunting.

Glass:

We have said it previously and we are saying it again, for us the main selling point of a scope is its best quality crystal clear lens. So, the glass has to be solid for us to recommend. So, you can guess it already, the glass quality of this scope is on point for its price.

You will see us mentioning for a price quite often because in case you guys forget that all the scopes are budget-oriented. Multi-coated vapor deposited glass assures its fog and waterproof. Plus the shockproof you got yourself a nice little scope.

Reticle:

Reticle, one of if not the most important part of a scope. this is the thing that you are going to staring non-stop for hours while aiming. This particular scope has a reticle called 4 plex. We are going to provide an image of the reticle below. the reticle isn’t that bad.

But it’s on a second focal plane means it won’t zoom alongside your scopes zoom. For some people, it is a letdown but keeping the price in mind you shouldn’t expect an FFP in this range.

Turrets and Zoom Ring:

You can’t get a scope which has clumsy turrets which tend to move on their own after each round you shot. That’s why Redfield made sure that their turrets aren’t going anywhere. The zoom is also sturdy and stays in place making sure your zoom doesn’t gets messed up while shooting.

Pros

  • Great price
  • Excellent build quality
  • Made in the USA
  • Multi-Coating of excellent quality

Cons

  • As per claims they have some quality control issues

So let us move on to the next contender which seems unique and we found it worthy of giving a separate part in our review.

If you have been reading our reviews for a while by now you should get the gist that we like to add our final thoughts after the pros and cons. But this time we won’t. We are going to give a complete rundown of the difference between the scopes alongside our final thoughts later in this best redfield scope reviews of ours.

Redfield Revolution 2-7x33mm Riflescope with Accu-Range Reticle

Let me clear you what do we mean by worthy enough. The thing is the revolution series is like your typical Samsung smartphone like for one country they use different processor something like that. We mean that this scope is the smallest among them and has the lowest zoom also the smallest objective lens. That’s why we thought giving it a different part instead of the next part which will have the difference of various models of revolution series.

Build Quality:

The build quality is exactly like its other brother’s top-notch for the price. It’s little smaller in length, not that much. And it’s also lightweight. Aluminum build assures shockproof. You are getting an awesome little piece for the price you are paying.

Glass:

The glass is multi-coated, there is no glaring issue or glass getting out of its place. At least not in our case. For the budget, you can’t complain much and getting a decent glass.

Reticle:

Here comes the main difference from the 4-Plex reticle we reviewed in our earlier model. Truth be told there isn’t much difference between 4-Plex and Accu-range.

Turrets and Zoom Ring:

We are impressed that the turret and zoom quality is exactly like the highest price-revolution series. The turrets felt sturdy and well build. We think it can handle a quite rough ride for a long time.

There are not many cons that it has, so instead of giving pros and cons, we are going right into the rest of the units in today’s best redfield scope reviews. But we are not going to review them individually like the 2 units we did above. Instead, we are going to give you the specifications of them and then move on to straight pointing the difference and which one is optimal for which category people and should you even buy a Redfield Revolution scope.

So if you have read the specifications and looked closely towards the name you can already see the difference between them. Yeah, there isn’t much.

The main thing differentiates them from each other is their reticle. Some of those have Accu-range and some of them has 4-Plex and even has TAC-MOA. There isn’t much difference between the reticles but accu-range provides you a small circle near the dot which helps aiming target easily and also there is a small dot vertically right below the circle.

By using it you can get the gist of your bullet drop and aim accordingly. The Tac-MOA is a hashmark reticle, it has hash marks for windage elevation and bullet drop. You can guess them using those pointers which are spread all 4 sides both vertically and horizontally. We will provide you the images of each reticle right below this part so don’t worry.

The 2nd thing that differentiates them from each other is their length. There is slight variation among each model. For example, the Redfield Revolution 2-7x-33mm has the smallest total length and weight.

Owh yes weight is another thing that is different in each of them. The other things which they have different are the revolution 2-7x has a 33mm objective lens where the Redfield revolution 4-12x has a 50mm objective lens, objectively for its better range. You need more FOP with higher range scopes so it makes sense.

Which Redfield Scope Should You Buy

  • If you are looking for the cheapest option the revolution 2-7x-33mm is a good option.
  • Or If you looking for the most range for a cheap price feel free to choose the revolution 4-12x50mm.
  • And If you are a beginner hunter who is happy with accurate mid-range shooting, you can choose any version of the 3-9x40mm and call it a day.

All of them going to serve you for a long time. You can be a happy hunter for days.
