Best Bow Sights

BEST BOW SIGHTS

1. Burris Oracle Rangefinder Bow Sight

The bow sight provides the exact distance between you and the target when you draw the bow. It eliminates the guessing time.

The bow sight calculates and shows the exact target pin that you need for that shot. It removes the time that requires you to aim with the correct pin. It will always show you the correct pin.

NO MATTER WHAT, Burris claims that it will show you the correct pin every time.

It’s so lightweight that you won’t even feel there is a rangefinder on your bow. It’s compatible with both left and right-hand usage.

If all those technologies weren’t enough for you, the sight also has angle compensating. It uses the same technology from the Burris Eliminator riflescope series.

The sight can acquire target up to 500 yards and on reflective objects up to 200 yards. This makes the sight best for deer hunting. If the sight fails to acquire target it will revert back to FPM (fixed pin mode).

You will need one CR123 battery to operate the scopes and you can use that battery for 1000-2000 actuation.

The only thing holding it back from every hunters/target shooter is the price. Except that it’s the ideal bow sight any shooter can hope for.

2. Trophy Ridge React Pro 5 Pin Bow Sight

React pro series is one of the best bow sights from Trophy Ridge. Trophy Ridge is a well-loved brand for its budget-oriented products. They are like Vortex, provides some of the best budget sights on the market.

WITH THE REACT PRO 5, it’s no different. React Pro 5 is a $200 bow sight. For a $200 bow sight, it nails a lot of coffin right.

THE HIGHLIGHT FEATURE OF THIS BOW SIGHT IS the react technology. Trophy Ridge said it is mathematically accurate and automatically adjust your pins simultaneously.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN? It means that you will be accurate with any yardage from 20 yards. The bow sight will accurately predict the pin gape and adjust automatically.

Made out of aluminum the bow sight is built really well. With react technology you will get yardage faster than doing the mathematics yourself. And that yardage will be 100% accurate. The sight also has 2nd and 3rd axis.

3. CBE Engage Hybrid 3 Pin Bow Sight

The bow sight is a lightweight bow sight with an adjustable 2nd and 3rd axis.

The pins are also adjustable with the help of the revolve micro pin system. If you are picking it up for hunting or archery you won’t even notice it’s there. Well, maybe you will. But the point is, the sight weighs less than 500 grams.

The sight has a rheostat that increases the pin brightness. It allows you to adjust the pins freely.

The sight comes with a manual to help you adjust the sight better. With rest assured you can adjust almost anything on the sight.

PROS

CONS

That name was certainly a mouthful. But don’t worry, the sight is not as big as the name. And that’s a good thing.

Fast Eddie XL is the latest edition to the Spot Hogg Mobb series. It’s an excellent addition to the series. A perfect balance of price and performance. They took extra care while building it to make sure the sight delivers everything it promises while being lightweight.

You can customize the product to your heart’s content. You can add up to 7 pins if you want or need them. If you just want a single pin or double pin you can do that too.

Fast Eddie XL also has the new double pin-pointer technology from Spot Hogg. The new yardage dial is more firm and improved than before. The housing is made out of 6061 Aluminum. Rest assured you are getting a tank for the money.

The 2nd and 3rd exists are micro-adjustable.

With better and improved grip and quick-release mount, the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL provides an excellent value for the money.

If you are looking for a bow sight that is highly customizable within budget, look no further the Fast Eddie XL is here.

5. HHA DS-XL5010 Ultra Bow Sight

The HHA Ultra is the bigger brother of the HHA optimizer lite. There are so many optimizer models available you will be confused as hell. But don’t worry, all of them are similar except the housing size, fiber length, pin size, and mechanical rheostat.

But you have to keep in mind that this is a single pin bow sight. You can’t customize it to have more than one pin. If you have no issues with single pin bow sight then keep reading.

In case you didn’t know HHA makes some of the best single pin bow sights in the market. The only downside of this sight is, it doesn’t have 2nd or 3rd exist controls.

Made out of aluminum there is no doubt that the build quality is excellent. HHA optimizer includes HHA’s range dial shooting technology.

This technology helps you to decide the correct sight tape. It takes in 2 distance calibration and uses the average.

You can choose either a 1 5/8″ or a 2″ housing. We recommend you to choose the 2″ housing. The larger field of view will help you at hunting.

6. IQ Pro Hunter RH Black Bow Sight

The pro hunter is the latest addition to IQ bow sight arsenal. Just like we imagined the new Pro Hunter bow sight also uses the retina lock technology.

The retina lock technology helps you to nail the target every shot. The retina technology is not new by any means. But it is one of the most revolutionary technologies in the 3D archery world. You can correct the torque and guess the anchor point thanks to the retina lock technology.

But this is not the only selling point of the Pro hunter bow sight. It comes with 2 pins for close-range shooting and a floater pin. You can adjust the floater pin on the fly.

If the buck leaps backward by 30 yards you can use the floater pin to stretch the tape for that specific yardage. You can also adjust the windage and elevation without any tools.

The Pro hunter also has adjustable 2nd and 3rd axis. To top of all the features, the sight costs less than $250.

7. Black Gold Widow Maker Archery Sight

The thing that baffles me is that there aren’t many Black Gold Widow Maker reviews out there.

This is a cheap bow sight that features a lot of things from the high-end bow sights. It deserves more attention and recognition. You can purchase the sight with 4 pins or 5 pins.

The sight is really lightweight. The weight of this sight is 6.4 oz. The Bombproof pin design keeps the fiber optic protected. The Sky Coil system gathers enough light to help the pin illuminate. This way you can get an excellent low light performance.

The low light performance is quite neglected in the bow sight scene. The simple reason is that all the archery shooting competitions are held indoor or under bright sunny conditions.

But if you are looking for something that will help you at your dusk hunting session this is it. But the downside is that the pins are fixed.

You won’t find any top of the line automatically adjusted pins. You have to find the right pin yourself. There is fun in that, if you are new to the scene you should get it to learn more about archery.

PROS

CONS

8. IQ Micro 7 Pin Compound Bow Sight

IT’S A LOW-END BOW SIGHT AT A LOW-END PRICE.

Nothing to make a huge fuss about. But what it does have is the Retina Lock technology. Something that you don’t see in this budget range.

Retina lock is the highlight of this bow sight. Thanks to this feature you will have the confidence that your arrows will hit the target every shot.

The micro also has other notable features such as windage and elevation micro-adjustment dials. You can lock those adjustments without any tools. The knobs have a locking mechanism.

But if you don’t like the locking mechanism you can change the knobs with screws. The screws come with the sight.

The downside of this sight is it doesn’t have the 3rd axis. But the 2nd axis is there.

You can either purchase the 3 pin sight or 7 pin sight. Available for both left and right-hand archers.

9. Trophy Ridge Fix Series 5 Pin Bow Sight

We are hitting the price ranges that shouldn’t be possible. On top of that, this isn’t even the cheapest scope on our list. We have another one left. Back to the topic.

Another great bow sight from Trophy Ridge. We established the point that Trophy Ridge makes excellent budget optics. The Trophy Ridge Fix series is no different. It’s a $70 bow sight.

The bright green hooded accent helps you to center your target easily.

The included light gathering fiber optic is located at the front of the sight. It allows the fiber optic to transfer more light and results in a brighter pink.

The included rheostat controlled light is enough to shoot during the dusk. But is it legal to do that in your state, find that out first. Or you can be in trouble legally.

You can choose from 3 pins, 5 pins, or 7 pins.

The one right for you depends on you. Look at all the pictures of each model and find out which one clicks with you.

10. Trophy Ridge Volt 5 Pin Bow Sight

The price of this bow sight is insane. The toy for your child costs more than this.

Coming at $40 this bow sight is for absolute beginners. The ease of use is beginner friendly and the price is wallet-friendly.

It also comes with 5 pins! The downside is that you need to flip it over to use it with the left hand.

The whole mounting bracket is made of aluminum and pretty lightweight. While it may not feature any fancy quick-release mechanism, at least it’s not made out of plastic. That would be awkward.

Thanks to the LED and well-designed housing the sight is excellent for hunting. It gathers enough light to provide a clear image and helps during the low light hunting session.
